Research by leading property agents suggests that there is demand for new hotel accommodation in Huddersfield.

An early version of the Waterfront Quarter Master plan included a new hotel of either 3 or 4 star standard facing the new public square and enjoying a prime frontage to the A616 Chapel Hill road. Subject to obtaining the necessary planning contents, it remains possible for a hotel to be incorporated into the development.
